All of our cage cups are made in the USA  for the pet industry are Bisphenol A(BPA) free. The soft gray or blue containers, and the yellow chick waterers are made out of HDPE(high-density polyethylene) #2. Our Black and color gnaw-resistant containers are made out of 66 nylon. They are also BPA-free. 

These hanging feed and water cups for chickens and other birds are made here in the United States by a small company that has been in business since 1974 producing this line of feed and water containers for caged animals and poultry. They have a Unique shift locking design that keeps more active pets from knocking them off the wire. Containers are both boil & freeze resistant for strength and sanitation. They are a thicker, more flexible plastic, and consequently are not prone to freeze and bust like all of the imported water cups that I have purchased from Randall Burkey, Belle Farms, Cutlers, Jeffers, etc. in the past. (For ice removal, it is best to fill only 1/3 to 1/2 full in the winter.)

I have used hanging feed and water cups for many years on my farm. The advantage I see to the hanging water cups is that they stay cleaner because my chickens aren't as prone to kick dirt in them and earthworms don't crawl into them and die. Water & Feed bowls sitting on the ground can also become a home for vermin & insects. I have a lot of movable pens that I try to keep on fresh grass, and it is a lot easier if the cup is hanging on the pen. Fresh Clean Water = Healthy, Hydrated, Happy animals.
