Easter Egg Layers are an Americana Cross that lays beautiful eggs. They are very healthy, not prone to illness, friendly, non-aggressive birds with a great disposition. You would not want to mix them in a flock of more aggressive birds, because they would get picked on. They are easy to train to come in at night. They are great for kids & will eat out of your hand. They lay 4 to 5 olive green to blue-green or sometimes pink eggs per week. The primary purpose of these birds is for egg laying. They are a little small for a meat bird ranging in size from 4 to 5 lbs.
